What happens if someone tells you the opposite of You Matter

As the school year end is in sight, I have been reflecting (looking back at our year). Everyday we talk about YOU MATTER. Everything we do reflects that YOU MATTER. What if one day someone shows or tells you, YOU DON'T MATTER? Today exactly that happened to me. What did I do you ask? I cried to some dearest friends of mine. Thank goodness for their support. It hurts when someone tells you YOU DON'T MATTER. Then I asked the question to myself, how do I overcome this hurt I felt? Lately I have become passionate about exercising. I love exercising, I feel 100% better about myself when I exercise. Tonight I will do just that, EXERCISE. Everyone MATTERS, YOU MATTER, please believe that because without this we can't be truly happy.
Please give an example of a time where you felt YOU DON'T MATTER, how did or will you overcome this?

Spring Break

This is a Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle.  This picture was taken at Ko Olina, Hawaii.
We just finished a week of Spring Break, which meant no school for us.

Tahitian dancers

Today our students saw a performance by Tahitian dancers.  One of our fourth graders competes as a national Tahitian dancer.  We were so proud to see him dance.  Our girls wanted to take this picture with the Tahitian dancers.  Their dress is traditional Tahitian dress.
